Sin más que hacer… [Poema]

Hay cosas que sé,

[There's thing i know ]

No debería hacer.

[I must repress}

Hay cosas que no deberían ser.

[there are things that should not be]

Y es más difícil ser,

[But is harder to be}

Aquel que tiene el saber.

[the one that knows

the right and wrong}

 

El ignorante y tonto,

[The fool and ignorant,}

Solo hacen lo que sienten hacer.

[they do what they please}

No se detienen a reflexionar,

[Not even stopping to think }

Hacen daño sin que le importen los demás.

[They hurt everybody without feeling guilt]

 

Y nosotros aquellos que saben pensar,

[And the others that think}

No podemos darnos ese lujo.

[Will take the guilt as a repressing mean}

Pues terminas sintiéndote mal.

 

No puedes odiar, no te puedes vengar.

[We cannot hate, neither take revenge}

Pues te come más la culpa que la satisfacción de "GANAR".

[Because guilt is a huge monster, and makes you feel that "win" a huge burden}

Solo te tragas esa sensación de amargura.

[You just swallow that bitter drink]

Esa impotencia de ni siquiera poder festejar,

[And if Karma collects that debt]

Que la vida les cobre aquel mal.

[Neither smile can we, without suffering guilt]

Porque no va contigo, Porque al final

[It is not our way, because in the end}

No te hace sentir bien, porque no arregla nada.

[Suffer makes no good, nothing gets really "paid"}

Porque el problema no es ella…si no él.

[Because she is not the problema, but him as well]
